Our first priority is to repair your siding whenever a proper, durable repair is possible. We do not jump straight to recommending full replacement when a smaller repair can solve the problem.
We handle virtually every type of siding repair, including cracked or broken panels, loose or missing siding, hail damage, partial elevations, colour-match repairs, James Hardie repairs, vinyl repairs, LP SmartSide repairs, metal or panel repairs, and siding problems around windows, flashing and leak areas.
A cracked panel may be the visible problem, but the cause can be impact, movement, poor fastening, water around a window, missing flashing or damage to the wall behind the siding. A proper repair starts by understanding what failed before the new piece goes back on.
If a durable repair is realistic, that is the route we prefer. We only recommend larger replacement when the existing material, widespread damage, colour mismatch, discontinued products or hidden wall issues make repair impractical or poor value.
Replace damaged vinyl, fibre cement or engineered siding where the issue is isolated and the surrounding wall is sound.
Re-secure or replace siding that has come loose from wind, poor fastening or previous installation problems.
Repair isolated hail damage when matching material is available and full replacement is not necessary.
Remove siding around problem areas to address flashing, sheathing or water-entry issues before closing the wall back up.

Hail damage can be localized — but matching is often the deciding factor.
Vinyl siding may crack, puncture or shatter. James Hardie can chip or fracture. LP SmartSide can show impact damage. Metal systems may dent. If the damage is limited and replacement material is available, spot repair can make sense.
The challenge with older siding is colour and profile matching. Even the correct manufacturer colour can look different after years of sun exposure. If a spot repair would look obviously patched, we may recommend replacing a complete elevation instead.
We assess the damage first and explain the repair-vs-replacement trade-off before work begins.
Some siding repairs start with a leak rather than visible exterior damage. Water stains, swollen sheathing, soft areas near windows or repeated caulking failures can point to problems behind the siding.
In these cases, we carefully remove the surrounding siding, inspect the wall, repair damaged sheathing or insulation where needed, correct flashing and waterproofing details, and then reinstall or replace the exterior finish.
This is especially important around windows, roof-to-wall intersections and penetrations where water is most likely to find a path behind the cladding.

Different siding materials behave differently when they are damaged. This is what usually affects whether a localized repair is practical.
| Material | Repairability | Colour Matching | Hail Consideration | Typical Repair Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vinyl | Usually good | Can be difficult on older siding | More vulnerable to cracking / punctures | Individual panels can often be replaced if the profile and colour are available. |
| James Hardie | Good for isolated boards | Usually manageable, but fading matters | Can chip or fracture under severe hail | Damaged planks or panels can often be replaced without disturbing the full elevation. |
| LP SmartSide | Good | Finish match should be checked | Impact can mark or damage boards | Repairs should include correct sealing, flashing and edge treatment. |
| Metal / LUX | Depends on panel system | Generally good if product is available | Can dent under strong impact | Panel availability and access determine whether spot repair is practical. |

For widespread damage, read our siding replacement guide. If a storm affected several exterior components, request a hail damage assessment so roofing, siding and drainage can be considered together.

We identify the visible damage, material type, matching requirements and possible underlying cause.
Damaged siding is carefully removed so the surrounding wall and weatherproofing can be checked.
We address the damaged area, flashing or backing as needed and install the replacement material.
We review alignment, trim details and colour consistency so the repair blends as well as practical.
Call us or send photos through the form below. We can review the damaged area and help determine whether it can be repaired without moving straight to full replacement.
Our priority is to repair first whenever a proper, durable repair is possible.
Upload wide photos of the affected wall plus close-ups of cracks, holes, loose panels, corners or window areas. If the damage came from hail, include photos from more than one elevation.
Yes, when the damage is isolated and matching material is available. We first check the surrounding siding and the wall behind the damaged area.
Sometimes. We compare profile, manufacturer and colour, but older siding may have faded or been discontinued. We explain the likely visual match before proceeding.
Yes, if the damage is limited. Widespread hail damage, brittle siding or poor material matching may make elevation replacement a better option.
Yes. We can remove siding around the affected area, inspect sheathing and flashing, complete waterproofing repairs and reinstall the exterior finish.
Yes. Isolated damaged planks or panels can often be replaced when the surrounding system is in good condition.
Repair cost depends on access, material, matching, the size of the damaged area and whether wall repairs are needed behind the siding. We provide a quote after reviewing the scope.
Send photos of the damaged area and a wider view of the wall. Tell us when the damage happened and whether you know the siding brand or age.
